This is the tour about Bosnian war that was part of break up of Ex-Yugoslavia. Sarajevo experienced the longest siege in modern history and you will visit all important locations to understand the situation and positions around the city.
Part of the tour is a visit of the Tunnel of Hope that was made in 1993 underneath the runway of the International Airport. Period from July 1993 until the end of the Siege in late February 1996, Sarajevo War Tunnel was the only connection between besieged Sarajevo with the outside world.
Thanks to the tunnel, the besieged city regained access to telephone lines, oil supplies, food and electric energy.
On this tour we will visit Sarajevo War Tunnel also known as Tunnel of Hope or Tunnel of Life and hear the story about Tunnel importance during the Siege of Sarajevo.
